This event is for Youth Club Members between the ages of 12 to 18 years old. 

WHAT?

Dive into the world of manga creation with our 3-lesson Digital Art with Krita! This hands-on workshop provides step-by-step guide on how to create dynamic manga characters using Krita software. Whether you're new to digital art or looking to sharpen your skills, this series will provide you with the tools and techniques to bring your manga-inspired ideas or favourite character to life. 

Who Should Attend: 

  • Beginners and intermediate artists interested in manga and digital art 
  • Those eager to learn how to use Krita for illustration 
  • Manga fans who want to bring their characters and ideas to life digitally 

Learning Objectives: 

This course allows participants to:  

 

  • Master the basics of Krita software for digital illustration 
  • Learn how to create clean line art, shading, and colour

Material needed:  

  • A laptop with Krita installed (please ensure Krita is set up before the workshop) – download it here: https://krita.org/en/ 
  • Drawing tablet (recommended, but optional) 

 

Please note: If you do not bring your own laptop with Krita installed, you will not be able to participate in the workshop. Materials are not provided, so please come prepared with your own equipment.

Trainer Bio:

Sidlaux is a passionate digital artist with over 10 years of experience and a Diploma in Digital Game Art & Design. She specializes in character illustration and has provided custom commissioned character designs to clients for more than 5 years.
