Frequently asked questions

What is mentorship?

The concept of mentorship is a structured relationship where a more experienced or knowledgeable person (the mentor) provides guidance, support, and advice to a mentee to help them grow personally and professionally.

What makes the YPN Mentorship WeCan series special?

Compared to other YPN initiatives, the mentoring session is intended to introduce mentees to industry mentors in a group of six to eight mentees. The mentoring session will be done up to two hours.

Do I have to commit to the same mentor for the next session?

Mentees are welcomed to try out different mentors, but you are expected to drive your own development conversations with your mentor of choice outside Mentorship WeCan. This comes back to YPN's mission to deliver an organic community of professionals that support each other genuinely.
