The Zegal Business Academy is a series of 8 sessions covering a diverse range of topics to help you better manage your business, from cashflow management to data use for marketing. Over the next 3 months, Zegal will invite experts to share the stage and give you insightful and practical advice.

For this session, Paul Gardner from Fresh Accounting will talk about Accounting in the Cloud. The Cloud, and with it accounting solutions as SaaS, have fundamentally changed the way companies record their financial transactions and can keep track of their performance. Daily financial reporting, once reserved for big companies, after having made massive investments in hard- and software, is now available for SME in the same granular way at a fraction of the cost. Cloud accounting in combination with clever add-on solutions has also unleashed a massive boost in productivity of accounting departments.

This session looks at the various advantages of Cloud accounting for SME and how it can help to free resources, in particular time and money, which can then be used to grow the business.

About Paul Gardner:

Paul is a Chartered Management Accountant with extensive experience working with SMEs and business start-ups. Originally from London, Paul moved to Hong Kong in 2014 and established Fresh Accounting in Hong Kong. Fresh Accounting Singapore was established two years later in 2016.

Working within fast growing businesses and teams, Paul understands the importance of developing and managing relationships and has a proven track record of both implementing and maintaining accounting systems and processes.
