Zentangle Art (An Inward Journey) Online from 19 Sep
Event Information
About this Event
The Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns using simple elemental strokes such as line, dot, curves and orbs.
More than just a drawing process, Zentangle is a journey of self-discovery. There is no right or wrong in Zentangle (just beauty or new opportunities). It is non-representational and unplanned so that you can focus on each stroke, enjoy the process and not worry about the outcome by allowing the unexpected to occur. Often in this allowing, you will discover a way to open up a “space” for you to freely express your personal journey in a safe, calm and restorative way.
It is a life skill that you could integrate into your daily lives to achieve a calmer and joyous lifestyle. It has also been found to be an effective tool for aiding relaxation, concentration, mindfulness, personal growth and well-being and many more.
Take a pause from your busy life to give yourself a space to slow down to catch up with yourself and join us in this journey to experience this meditative art form and discover the “key” to unleash your inner wisdom and creativity.
In this journey, we will explore different themes and work on white and black surfaces. You will be encouraged to also discover, explore and embrace your individual unique style. Everyone is unique and precious, and we all have a story to tell, it is all about slowing down, allowing yourself to spend time with yourself to relax and enjoy the process and be surprised by the beautiful results.
