Event description
Get ready for a journey in discovering simplicity in complexity through the Zentangle® Method with Lindsay

About this Event

The Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns using simple elemental strokes such as line, dot, curves and orbs.

More than just a drawing process, Zentangle is a journey of self-discovery. There is no right or wrong in Zentangle (just beauty or new opportunities). It is non-representational and unplanned so that you can focus on each stroke, enjoy the process and not worry about the outcome by allowing the unexpected to occur. Often in this allowing, you will discover a way to open up a “space” for you to freely express your personal journey in a safe, calm andrestorative way.

The Zentangle method is also a life skill for self-care in which you could integrate into your daily lives to enjoy moments of calmness and joyfulness. It has also been found to be an effective tool for aiding relaxation, concentration, mindfulness, personal growth and well- being and many more.

In this journey, you will:

  • be introduced to the Zentangle Method
  • work on White Square Tiles and White Zendala (Round) Tiles
  • experience the benefits of tangling for personal well-being
  • be encouraged to discover, explore and embrace your individual unique style

The tangling journey is about working at your own pace, you are in competition with no one. We are all unique individuals, each of us has a story to tell, it is all about slowing down, allowing yourself to spend time with yourself to relax, enjoy the process and admire the beautiful results.

Everyone will be able to enjoy the Zentangle Method as “Anything is Possible, One Stroke At a Time TM”.

Who should attend this course?

This class is suitable for all ages and requires no artistic background. As long as you can hold a pen, you have the ability to draw! “Anything is Possible, One Stroke At a TimeTM”.
