What is Zentangle?

The Zentangle® method is a mindful artform that uses only simple strokes of dots, lines, curves and orbs. All we do is repeat these strokes in a structured manner. There is nothing we aim to achieve, just to enjoy a calming and soothing process of letting go and letting be.

What do I have to prepare?

Please prepare the materials listed in the description above. Please also make sure that you have a stable internet connection and a working camera. Please turn on the camera throughout the session for the facilitator to ensure that all participants are following.

Question 3

What is the purpose of the silent sit after the tangling session?

Accepted Answer

The 15-minute short sit is optional. The tangling process helps to calm and clear the mind. The short sit is to further prepare the body and mind for a restful sleep. You may turn off the camera for this segment.

Why is the sessions held so late at night?

Accepted Answer

One of the objectives of the Zentangle PJ Meet is to allow our mind to settle, which many of us are not able to do so after a long busy work day. It is, hence, intended for people who find it difficult to fall asleep at night. If you find yourself awake at 10 pm, come join us!
