Joanna Reese

Joanna Reese is a Greenville-based REALTOR®, community organizer, and longtime activist with deep roots in the Carolinas. Her advocacy work has spanned decades and is now focused on protecting the rights of women, immigrants, and queer people.

For 15 years, Joanna owned and led Tangible.Agency, a well-known digital marketing firm in the Upstate, which she sold in 2023 to focus more fully on community-centered and justice-oriented work. As an autistic single mom of three, she brings transparency, intentionality, and lived experience to everything she builds.

At the heart of Joanna’s work is a belief that strong, resilient communities are built face-to-face. In an era shaped by online echo chambers and divisive narratives, she is committed to creating in-person spaces where people can meet across difference, engage honestly, and reconnect to their shared humanity. She believes gathering together is not only joyful and practical, but essential to building a better world for the next generation.
