Jefferson Patterson Park and Museum is a beautiful, 570-acre property at the intersection of St. Leonard’s Creek and the Patuxent River in Calvert County, Maryland with walking/hiking trails, water access for kayaks/boats, and the stories of those who have lived and worked here for more than 12,000 years including Native Americans, colonists, African Americans, soldiers & sailors, and pioneers in women’s history.

By preserving and sharing the diverse human stories found on Maryland’s landscape and in its archaeological resources, JPPM seeks to inspire a greater awareness of our ever-evolving relationship with each other and the Chesapeake region.
