ESSENCE Theatre-Studio is a nonprofit arts organization with a mission to culturally enrich, empower, and inspire Brooklyn’s diverse communities through professional theatrical productions and performing arts education. We are deeply committed to engaging underserved constituents—especially immigrants and first-generation Americans—by offering high-quality performances and instruction that honor cultural heritage while embracing American culture.
