Heart of Jacksonville African Violet Society

The Heart of Jacksonville African Violet Society is a non-profit group founded in 1992.

We are affiliate members of the African Violet Society of America, the Dixie African Violet Society and the African Violet Council of Florida.

We have fun getting together to learn about the care and growing of the most popular house plant, African violets. Some of our members are novices and some are experienced, seasoned fanciers of violets. Our experienced members assist other members in learning how to grow beautiful African violets and other Gesneriads. While sharing our passion for violets, we have formed life-long friendships from the common love of these beautiful little plants.
