Tamara R. Jackson made her creative mark as a poet on many stages at venues in the New York City metropolitan area as a solo performer and as a member of A T.O.U.C.H. O.F. R.E.A.L.L.I.T.Y. in the late 1990s, opening for The Last Poets. She is the author of various spoken word CDs and literary works, including the poetry collection Completion. Her performances have captivated many audiences taking them on an emotional journey through anger, pride, self-awareness, empowerment, and love. As a social justice advocate, Tamara has infused her beliefs and values inside her art to address issues like homelessness and domestic violence.
