A Mother's Wish (AMW) is a registered social enterprise that seeks to create communities for autistic youths and adults with moderate to severe autism all year round, even after their primary caregivers have passed on. Currently, it organises and subsidises engaging and meaningful activities for individuals with moderate to severe autism (aged six and above) during the school holidays.
We have raised money primarily through the sales of water colour paintings by Jean-Sebastien Choo, an untrained and unguided artist with autism. He contributes 30% of all sales to AMW. They range in price from $100 to $800; more than 100 paintings have been sold in the last three years. Sebastien is also an AMW participant; thus, he has been doing his part to contribute to the building of the AMW community for his future.
