Highlands and Islands Climate Hub

Highlands and Islands Climate Hub

The Highlands & Islands Climate Hub is funded by the Scottish Government with the purpose of supporting community led climate action throughout the region. The Hub is one of the first of a network of community led Climate Action Hubs which are forming across Scotland to support communities make a just transition to net zero, create greater resilience in communities and support a climate ready Scotland.

We operate across the region with our team of Development Officers ready to assist communities in their climate action journey whether this is developing new projects with a specific climate action focus or simply working with community groups to embed more climate friendly behaviours into their existing work. From community engagement, net zero policies to design, development and delivery of a project we can lend additional capacity, support and advice.
