Jane Arango- Digital Marketing College Professor

My journey into education has been quite the adventure! I started teaching adults when I was just 22.

It’s funny—there was a time when I didn’t see myself as a teacher at all. I still remember this not-so-nice teacher who suggested I should consider it, and I ended up in tears because I thought she was saying I wasn’t smart enough to be an executive leader.

Back then, teaching didn’t seem like the cool thing to do—now every YouTuber out there claims they love teaching very proudly, but back then, it wasn’t that cool at all!

With my MBA in Business Management and a Professional Certificate in Digital Marketing, I've spent 8 years as an entrepreneur exploring different ventures, along with 5 years as an Education Program Director and 12 years directly teaching adults.

In recent years, I’ve observed a shift in education, where it often doesn't meet students' expectations for real-world application. That’s why I’ve updated my teaching style to focus on practical marketing techniques that you can apply to your business immediately.

I've also noticed a significant gap between those who think they can succeed in college and those who feel they're not cut out for it. I love providing practical education for business owners who are eager to learn and grow.

Why do I teach? Honestly, there’s nothing quite like that moment when someone finally gets how to use basic social media marketing for their business. I even have students telling me this should be a required course for all students! So many people think you should just know marketing, but the truth is, not many are taught how to do it right. And let’s be real—a business without solid marketing isn’t going to thrive.

While there are many valuable YouTube videos out there, there’s nothing like a live class where you can get your personal questions answered.

I’d love for you to join me at my events, where we can unlock the power of social media together. Let’s make it happen!
