Local Development Companies Network

Local Development Companies Network (LDCN), formerly known as the Irish Local Development Network, is the national representative body for Local Development Companies (LDCs) in Ireland. LDCs are grassroots, not-for-profit organisations whose mission is to build inclusive, vibrant communities and better life chances for people in every part of Ireland. Through the broad range of programmes and services that they develop and deliver, LDCs play a critical role in promoting community and rural development, social inclusion, education, training and employment, climate and the environment, health and wellbeing, parenting and childcare, social enterprise, and more.
