Minds Matter Southern California connects driven and determined students from low-income families with the people, preparation, and possibilities they need to thrive, through college and beyond. Powered by a vibrant community of volunteers, we combine one-on-one mentoring, group instruction, and social-emotional learning to help students gain admission to and succeed in college.

Our volunteers provide consistent guidance, open doors to new opportunities, and model what’s possible. Support continues during college, nurturing students to become leaders who will light the way for future generations. Together, we’re building a community where every student is seen, supported, and empowered to create their future and change the world.
