Theatre@LASALLE

Theatre@LASALLE is the performance and production side of the BA (Hons) Acting Program at LASALLE College of the Arts. Theatre@LASALLE covers workshops, guest artists, alumni affairs, and all fully staged productions involving past, current, and future Acting students. The driving force behind Theatre@LASALLE is the @ symbol. It is our belief that everything we do is unfinished until you, the audience, is @ the experience. We will strive to make you feel an ownership of the work, a part of the process, and able to understand what it is we do and why we do it. We don't just want to put butt's in seats, we want to put brains in seats.

The BA(Hons) Acting programme is a highly selective course, which prepares committed and talented students for professional careers as actors in theatre, film and television. Students are exposed to a range of practices in different Western acting and performance styles and techniques while being informed by non-Western and Asian theatre practices. Singapore is situated at the crossroads of western and eastern performing arts cultures and practices, and LASALLE’s Faculty of Performing Arts is committed to pushing the boundaries in contemporary performing arts.
