About this Event
Working on this beautiful plant stand is a good way to be learn woodworking. You will experience the process of turning rough sawn lumber into smooth useable planks, cut them to size on a table saw and shape them with a router before assembling them and applying a finish. The frame construction techniques used in this class can be applied to chair, table and stool construction in future. At the end of the day, you will go home with a beautiful plant stand that you constructed to the envy of your family and friends.
During the class, you will be using the following machines:
Mitre Saw
Jointer/thicknesser
Table saw
Router/ trimmer
Jigsaw
Random orbital sander
Electric drill and impact screwdriver
Joint used:
Mortise and tenon joint
Duration: 2 sessions (Consecutive Saturday 2pm to 5pm and Sunday 2pm to 6pm)
