About the Workshop

“Selling” is a basic and necessary function in any retail environment. With some effort, anyone can “sell”. However, the current market is rife with stiff competition, predominantly from online shopping. It takes much more than simply selling skills to successfully win over customers, such that they will want to spend their dollars in your store.

Moving forward, how can we ensure the customers are buying, buying more, and buying often? This workshop helps deepen selling skills to achieve this: Alternative Selling, Up-Selling, Cross Selling and Benefit Selling.

This workshop shares how selected workplace learning methods could be used to extend the learning in the classroom to learning at the workplace to ensure continuity and deepening of selling skills.


Learning Outcome

Participants will:

  • Acquire the relevant skill sets to understand and overcome personal and workplace challenges
  • Help create an organisational culture that fosters and develops active noticing of their environment
  • Participate and facilitate an open community to learn from and share with each other within the workplace

About the Speaker

Gigi has many years of experience working on consultancy projects revolving productivity enhancement, customer centricity, service improvement, and re-positioning. As a trainer, she conducts Training Needs Analysis, as well as develops and delivers training sessions on Selling Skills, Service Skills, Supervisory and Management courses for retailers and F&B outlets.

Gigi has extensive field experience in managing and coordinating projects and events, and organisations she has serviced include shopping malls, retailers, F&B outlets, manufacturers, merchant associations, and business associations.
