DesignTinkers 5-day Camp 4 (Oct)

Join us for an exciting 5-day Holiday Camp where children dive into a world of creativity and innovation! Designed to spark curiosity, this hands-on camp invites kids to explore a variety of make-and-build projects; encouraging experimentation, enhancing dexterity, and strengthening both creative and critical thinking skills. Each day brings a new opportunity to learn, create, and have fun through purposeful play and exploration.

On Day 1 of this holiday camp, students will explore alternative living by building their own mobile tiny homes. This encourages out-of-the-box thinking as they design a home on wheels, ready for adventures across diverse landscapes. They'll learn about the lower environmental impact of tiny homes, understanding their sustainability through reduced material, land, electricity, and emission usage. Their designs will incorporate energy efficiency, water collection, and recycling to promote awareness of sustainable living.

On Day 2 & 3, Students are introduced to various environmentally sustainable building design strategies; understand how to keep their home building energy efficient, learn about materials and to use resources in a responsible manner. Students will build a 3D model prototype of their Eco-Home.

On Day 4 and 5, students will dive into the exciting world of Café designs as they explore what it takes to create a one-of-a-kind space. From cozy corners to trendy themes, they’ll unleash their creativity by brainstorming unique concepts for their dream café. Each student will develop personalized floor plans, pick out furniture, colors, and décor, and bring their café vision to life—one detail at a time. It’s the perfect blend of imagination, design, and fun!

DesignTinkers camps are thoughtfully curated and led by a passionate team of educators, architects and designers with a shared mission: to inspire and empower young minds through design. With extensive experience working with children and teens, our instructors are dedicated to nurturing each student’s creative interests in a fun, engaging, and supportive environment. All our camps are held in our conducive classrooms where students can create and explore freely under guidance.
