Nick is a corporate and commercial lawyer in Stephenson Harwood (Singapore) Alliance and he advises on a range of energy, trade and finance matters, with particular expertise in international commercial arbitration, investigations and public international law.. He advises clients on corporate mergers and acquisitions as well as on commercial matters. He advises on cross-border and emerging market transactions in the energy, natural resources and infrastructure sectors with a particular focus on energy transition. Nick acts for clients on acquisitions, disposals, corporate restructurings and joint ventures in oil and gas, LNG, solar, wind and conventional power as well as mining and commodities. He also advised clients on carbon trading (both voluntary and compliance markets), carbon capture and storage as well as hydrogen and ammonia related projects.
John is a partner in Stephenson Harwood (Singapore) Alliance and he advises on a range of energy, trade and finance matters, with particular expertise in international commercial arbitration, investigations and public international law.
He has a strong legal and commercial understanding of the trade, energy (including oil and gas, mining/natural resources, hydrogen and renewables), infrastructure and finance sectors.
John is experienced in working with most international arbitration rules and recognised institutions, including ICC, LCIA, SIAC, LMAA, HKIAC, CIETAC and UNCITRAL, and frequently appears as counsel before arbitral tribunals.

Drawing on her early career in oilseeds and grains trading with a leading agri-merchant, as well as her policy development work at Enterprise Singapore to strengthen the nation’s commodity trading ecosystem, Jiin brings a unique blend of commercial and strategic expertise. She is passionate about helping clients navigate the evolving energy landscape and seize opportunities in the transition to a low-carbon economy.

Dr. Kaho Yu is the Head of Energy and Resources Research and Lead China Analyst at Verisk Maplecroft, a global risk consultancy. He is an energy market and geopolitics specialist with over 10 years of experience in think tanks, academia and the private sector. His current research focuses on the geopolitics of energy transition, carbon market, critical mineral security and ESG risks in the Asia Pacific.
Before Verisk Maplecroft, he held academic positions at Harvard Kennedy School, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Renmin University in Beijing. Currently, he holds affiliated positions at Asia Carbon Institute, LAPC at King’s College London, and Asia Energy Studies Center. Kaho obtained a PhD in International Political Economy from King’s College London. His latest academic book is China's Energy Security in the 21st Century: The Role of Global Governance and Climate Change.

As the Director, ESG Controller at Cargill, I work alongside our Global Impact/ Sustainability teams in enhancing processes and controls on ESG reporting and risk management, in preparation for assurance and mandatory requirements on ESG disclosures and due diligence.
I have more than 20 years of global experiences in multi-faceted roles across different MNCs. My audit and financial controllership experiences laid the foundation on good governance and controls, while EHS audit equipped me with the fundamental knowledge about the topics of environmental, human health and safety. Beyond science, as daughter of a farming family in Malaysia, food sustainability is core to my family heritage, I instinctively relate to the intricate balance of the co-existence of human and nature.
Mindful of the need for diversity and gender equality in the Agri-food sector, I serve as treasurer with the Women in Agribusiness Asia (WOMAG) and as member to the audit committee of Aidha, an NGO that helps foreign domestic workers and low-income women achieve economic independence through financial education.
I hold a Bachelor of Commerce (Accountancy) degree from University of Western Sydney Australia and an Executive MBA from Singapore Management University.
