About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Friendzone: Let's Talk About Volunteering is a ladies-only gathering for young adults aged 20–40 living in Singapore to connect over meaningful conversations about giving back and to meet others who care about the same causes you do.

This event is brought to you by Friendzone SG and WIN Council.

You’ll get to share stories, explore social issues close to your heart, and brainstorm ideas for community projects in a safe, supportive space.

💭 What you’ll be chatting about:

When signing up, you’ll choose your top 2 causes — and we’ll do our best to group you based on your top choice, so you can connect with others who share the same passion.

The 5 causes to choose from are:

🐾 Animal Welfare

👵 Supporting Vulnerable Seniors

🧒 Supporting Vulnerable Youth (e.g. lower-income, disabilities, special needs, or at-risk)

🌱 Environmental Sustainability

🤝 Relationships & Social Well-Being

Together, you’ll explore what drew you to the cause, reflect on your volunteering experiences, and brainstorm ways to create positive change.

What you’ll walk away with:

-Honest, heartfelt conversations and new perspectives

-New friends who share your interests and values

-A project idea you’re excited about (and maybe someone to build it with!)

-Resources and organisations that can support your next steps

Whether you’ve been volunteering for years or are just starting out, this is your space to connect, reflect, and be inspired 💜

Why neighbourhood events?

We believe that neighbourhood communities matter! There’s value in having ties with the people who live near you. From closer friends who become a second family and can be relied on in times of need, to acquaintances who are a friendly face and can help you out in a pinch — all of these people exist within your neighbourhood, and we’re here to help you find them!

Is this a dating event?

Nope, this is strictly an event to meet and get to know neighbours, and maybe make a friend or two (or more!). We do our best to set expectations and create a safe, comfortable space for everyone at our events
