Half-Day Retreat: The Healing Power of Meditation

The Buddhist meditation practice of "taking by means of compassion" is one of the most powerful methods for opening our heart and for healing both mental and physical suffering. This ancient technique has the power to improve our own mental peace and happiness, and is especially beneficial in situations where we may feel powerless to help others or to overcome the various adversities that life brings our way.
During this retreat we will receive commentary and guidance to this extraordinary meditation. In this way, through the course of the morning we will develop and deepen our familiarity with the practice of "taking" and understand how to use this meditations in our daily life to benefit both ourself and others.

- Time for contemplation and Q&A in a tranquil setting
This retreat is suitable for beginners to meditation and experienced meditators alike – everybody is welcome! However do note that spaces are limited to a maximum of 26, so we recommend booking your spot in advance.

9 – 10am: Retreat session #1

12 – 1pm: Retreat session #3
(Please aim to arrive between 8.30 – 9am if possible.)
* Note that refreshments are provided during the breaks throughout the day but lunch is not provided.
