Living “amidst the normal chaos of a hectic life” can be exciting but challenging at times.

Although eliminating stress from our lives is quite impossible, we can create small islands of calm and peacefulness to nourish ourselves. This is what this workshop is about. In it, we will be taking a break from the business of the outside world and coming back to our center to heal and take care of ourselves.

As stress has both psychological and physical components, we will make use of the body-mind connection to release stress and tension. Mindfulness and embodiment practices we use in this workshop will help us to reclaim the state of peace and calm, increase resilience to stress and support our nervous systems.

Dealing with stress in this conscious and mindful way, will allow you to achieve greater mental and emotional health, positively impact your relationships and create an increased sense of wellbeing.

About Svetlana

Svetlana Frolova is originally from Russia and moved to Singapore in 2012. It is here that she discovered her passion for healing and mindfulness practices that completely changed her life.

Leaving behind a twenty year career in the corporate environment, Svetlana fully dedicated herself to healing work. Firmly believing in unity of body and mind, she guides you to explore this connection and use it to heal you on all levels of your human experience – mental, emotional, physical and spiritual.

As healing comes to everyone through different pathways, Svetlana’s mission is to help you find a natural therapy that works best for you. This is especially important in the realm of mental health where limited options may hold people back from taking care of this important area of their lives. Hence, as a professional counsellor, Svetlana offers not only traditional talk-therapy, but a variety of alternative healing methods for you to choose from.

These methods include Reiki, BodyTalk, Mindfulness, Somatic Experiencing, TRE (Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises), and Intuitive Counselling. All of them are designed, in a natural and sustainable way, to help you find relief from pain, anxiety, stress and trauma and to create a life worth living.
