For the first time in Asia, the International Forum of Visual Practitioners (IFVP) has partnered the International Association of Facilitators (IAF) Asia Conference team to create a platform for Asian Visual Practitioners to pow-wow at our very first DrawTogether meeting in Hualien, Taiwan, this September!

TRACK TWO: Visual Practice as Serious Business

TRACK THREE: What has Photo Making got to do with Graphic Recording?
Kailin Huang of Picture People Plan invites you to get your cameras and markers ready for a time of making image making work. You mentioned payment via the official registration page. How much will the tickets cost?
We now working on the best value (and experience) for money, which is why we haven't released prices yet. For reference, IAF Asia Conference Tickets (Early Bird Members) are priced at 5800NTD (approx 180USD) per day, so we are aiming to keep IFVP Asia DrawTogether tickets priced similarly (or lower) with tons of useful goodies bundled in!

The International Forum of Visual Practitioners (IFVP) is an international forum of visual practitioners, established since the 1990s. Visual practitioners are a diverse group of professionals who employ a variety of tools and methods, including custom visuals, diagrams, illustrations, storyboards, visual agendas, mapping systems, images, icons, drawings, multimedia, and more to capture information, communicate ideas, and stimulate creative thinking. As our world becomes more visual, especially in the digital realm, visual tools and strategies become more powerful.
Visual practitioners work in person and online in many settings, such as:
David Sibbet, a leader in the field of visualization, said that visual practitioners help people “see what they mean.” As a visual practitioner extracts key ideas and organizes information visually, participants’ comprehension and retention increases.
As they see their ideas being captured, participants feel empowered and develop a sense of ownership of the project. Visual practitioners inspire people to approach challenges in new and creative ways, freeing people from conventional ways of thinking and generating real progress.
