Join us to thank our unsung heroes of the sea at the ‘Let’s Write Letters to Thank Our Seafarers!’ Workshop, Singapore Maritime Gallery, as we celebrate the Day of the Seafarer together! 25 June is set aside annually as a celebration designated by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) to recognise the unique contributions of our seafarers. Participate in a special one-hour interactive workshop designed for children aged 12 and below, on 22 June 2024. This engaging event aims to educate and inspire the next generation about the crucial role of seafarers in maritime.
At this heartwarming workshop, we will express our heartfelt gratitude to the seafarers. You will have the unique opportunity to craft letters using recycled materials, such as old nautical charts and plantable writing materials. Plus, you can take them home with you to grow your very own plant!
