Embark on a captivating journey of transformation with our Maritime Evolution Trail. This trail is a 2.5-hour tour that will take participants to discover the progress of Singapore’s modern maritime industry as you travel from Labrador Park to St James Power Station. Along the way, explore the dynamic Keppel Harbour, the strategic St James Power Station and hear stories of how we have built our port infrastructure. This is an opportunity to reflect on the dedication of the maritime community, appreciate our remarkable achievements, and celebrate the inspiring story of Maritime Singapore!

*Please be advised that this tour involves a combination of walking and a chartered bus route.

  • Labrador Park
    Begin your journey at Labrador Park, an emblem of Singapore's maritime history.


  • Keppel Harbour

Immerse yourself in the tranquillity of Keppel Harbour, a former maritime lifeline for Singapore's growth and prosperity.


  • Bukit Chermin Boardwalk

Journey along the boardwalk to Bukit Chermin, an elevated vantage point offering panoramic vistas of Keppel Harbour.


  • St James Power Station

Continue your tour on bus to St James Power Station, a significant infrastructure that once powered the maritime trade in Keppel Harbour


  • Tanjong Pagar Terminal

As we drive past the Tanjong Pagar Container Terminal, hear the fascinating story of Singapore's early containerization efforts.


  • Marina Sourth Pier

1. Please ensure that each participant is registered as per their identity card and contact details. Do bring along a valid photo identity card* for verification during registration.

2. This is a guided tour, led by a MPA-endorsed guide. You are required to follow the instructions of your guide, and stay within the group at all times unless otherwise instructed.

3. Please be dressed comfortably and wear covered shoes. Strictly no slippers and sandals are allowed due to safety considerations.


*“valid photo identity card” refers to documents such as Passport, Identification Card, Driving License, Ez-link card with an accompanying photo of yourself, PAssion Silver Card, PAssion Silver Concession Card, Pioneer Generation Card, and Merdeka Generation Card.
