What is this programme about?

As a rule, human social institutions and their organizations in the 21st century will face far greater human challenges than at any other time throughout the history of civilization largely due to the accelerating pace of change and mounting complexity. Many of these challenges include rapid technological advancements, as well as fragile social-economic states, among others.

Considering such trends, enterprises will need to redefine what it means to succeed in the 21st century, above and beyond outperforming the competition.

For this reason, we developed the SMART Organisation Model to help enterprise leaders and managers to better understand:

  • where they fit in,
  • what a 21st century society will expect of them and,
  • what foundational capabilities enterprises must develop or strengthen if they are to thrive in this unfamiliar and demanding landscape.

In brief, this seminar is to orient enterprise leaders and managers to the task of adapting their enterprises to:

  • learn quickly,
  • use what their enterprises learn to anticipate changes;
  • strategically adapt their enterprises to operating environments; and
  • enable continuous enterprise transformation.

In doing so, enterprise leaders and managers will learn the importance of harnessing the power of capability, organisational learning and interconnectivity to increase intelligence, thereby, enabling their enterprises to improve organizational performance, create and act on transformational opportunity to grow a sustainable, resilient Smart Organisation capable of meeting 21st century challenges.
