About the Session
Most of the world's population (especially in high-growth developing markets) doesn't have access to Credit Cards: they use local payment brands and methods, such as mobile wallets, bank transfers, QR code payments, and so on.
In fact, Local Payments are becoming one of the top Growth and Digital Transformation trends in retail in 2020.
In this interactive session, Mohandass Kalaichelvan, the Founder and CEO of Spenmo, and Tom Kang, Director of Business Development at Rapyd, will share with you an overview of the consumer Payment Preferences across key markets in Asia, emerging trends and patterns, as well as tips to overcome the challenges of rapid rise in emerging payment methods and identifying the “right” partners.
