About this event

Join us for this mini-series focussed on increasing your awareness and confidence in talking about sex with the most significant people in in your life: your children, your partner and yourself!

In Part 1, we look at increasing your awareness of sexual development in children and how to communicate about sex with children from birth to adulthood. We will learn about the following

Date & Time : Jun 16th Sunday 6-7pm

  • Normal sexual development from birth to 18 years
  • Signs of problematic sexual behaviour
  • How you, as a parent or carer, can support your child or young person in being sexually safe
  • How you can support your child/young person to have a healthy relationship with their body and with their future partners in adulthood
  • Resources to support you with communication with your child and/or young person

In Part 2, we focus on learning about the ‘basics’ of sexuality and what makes it possible to have a pleasurable sexual experience with yourself. We will learn about;

Date & Time : Jun 23rd Sunday 6-7pm

  • Our sexual scripts that we form throughout life
  • Sexual response in your body
  • Your brakes & accelerators
  • How you can increase desire & pleasure within your body

In Part 3, we take a look at increasing your confidence in talking about sex with your partner and we learn about the following;

Date & Time : Jun 30th Sunday 6-7pm

  • Factors which promote pleasure & desire in partnered sexual experiences
  • Ways to talk about sex with your partner
  • Learning about brakes & accelerators within your relationship
  • Tools & resources which can increase the satisfaction within your sexual relationship with your partner

About your presenter:

Kristen Campbell is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and a Clinical Psychosexual Relationship, accredited with the Society of Australian Sexologists. Kristen works in private practice on the South Coast of New South Wales in Australia and works with individuals and couples to increase their pleasure, desire and satisfaction within their sexual relationships.

About the event

The events will be LIVE via zoom, and start weekly Sunday evening from 6-7pm on June 16th, 23rd and 30th. You can purchase single ticket to each part or a bundle of whole series (early bird price available!). You will receive recordings of the events that you have purchased tickets to.
