Why is the event complimentary?
This is part of a grassroot effort to contribute to the community as industry players and blockchain enthusiasts. This workshop is part of the National Blockchain Challenge supported by Lifelong Learning Institute, which includes a blockchain hackathon, panel discussions and workshops.
Are there food provided?
Yes, this workshop is part of the 3 workshops that we are holding on that day. As such, before this workshop, there will be refreshment provided.
Can I just walk in?
We have limited seatings available. In order to prevent disappointment, it is better to sign up for this event. Similarly, not turning up for the event means that the slot is wasted, so we sincerely hope that you will register and turn up for the event.
About the trainer
Wan Wei is the founder of IKIGUIDE: Singapore's First Mainstream Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Portal. She is an open-source advocate.
She is also a media specialist who has interviewed more than 100 C-Level Executives,ex-presidents, ambassadors and entrepreneurs globally. In 2017, Wan Wei was the first and only Singaporean selected by the Prime Minister's Office to helm Finland's 100th years of independence project.
About the training provider
Founded in 2014, IKIGUIDE is a blockchain media that has four core missions:
- Growing, connecting and empowering the Singapore blockchain community, to allow interested companies to reach out to engage with other parties;
- Helping good Japanese blockchain and cryptocurrency projects internationalise;
- Contributing towards blockchain/cryptocurrency education to the public; and
- Featuring stories involving the application of the blockchain technologies in developing worlds. In particular, we endeavour to feature projects that solve economic problems related to extreme poverty, basic education and hunger.
